In general you should call us whenever there is an issue with your lawn as some turf issues can quickly cause major damage. Please let us know right away if you see yellowing, browning, matted patches or dying turf.
Most applications will benefit from precipitation, as “watering in” will help to activate them.
All applications are rainfast when dry, which typically takes about 45 minutes, depending on environmental conditions.
Wet grass can be effectively treated, although we can’t treat standing water or puddles.
We guarantee the results of every application (including seed), so if there is a specific issue with your lawn, please call us, and we’ll address it.
Weed control is a long-term process. Your soil contains countless dormant weed seeds, and while herbicides are an important tool, no product is 100% effective on its own. Our goal is to build a dense, healthy lawn that naturally resists weeds over time.
Achieving this may require annual seeding for fescue lawns or carefully promoting warm-season turf, along with proper mowing and watering. Mowing is especially critical, as weeds must remain in an active growth state for treatments to work effectively.
Creating a true “Dreamlawn” typically takes a few years, and we’re committed to guiding you through that process. If you notice weeds between applications, please contact us—we’re happy to spot-treat as needed at no additional charge.
To protect your lawn, please do not apply herbicides or pull weeds yourself. Some weeds can spread or cause damage when pulled, and we’ll advise you if any exceptions arise.
